We are looking for highly motivated and responsible Cleaner with a good level of both written and spoken English. Good communication skills with residents, management and staff. Will need to work as part of a team Location: Horizon House, Gardiner Street Dublin 1 Responsibilities Clean and tidy Centre, internally and externally. Cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms Management of rubbish and waste within the Centre Dust, sweep and wash corridors on rotation. Assist with the clearing and cleaning of rooms Welcome and check the ID of all inspectors and official visitors to the centre ensuring that they sign the visitors’ book. Alert management when inspectors announce themselves. Undertake cleaning duties and deep cleaning duties on a rotational basis Deal immediately with incidents, and where necessary call 999 for emergency services (gardai or ambulance or fire services) or back up. Report immediately to the manager on call. Be vigilant to the possibility, that we may have trespassers or other untoward behaviour on the grounds at times, and in such a case, note the time of the intrusion, and call Gardai. Where possible note all numbers of any strange vehicles in the communication/handover book. Report all use of fire equipment, fire alarms going off, electricity or fire outage, and report to management. Assist in the induction of new staff at the manager’s request. This role has been created as a component of delivery of the integrated Low Back Pain Pathway. The integrated Low Back Pain (LBP) pathway is one of a number of modernised care pathways developed by the HSE. This pathway aims to identify patients who present with low back pain that need relevant and timely interventions in the most appropriate setting i.e. nearest to home. The pathway enables GPs to utilise a specialty specific referral form, and a stratified care approach, thus placing patients on the correct treatment pathway, depending on their specific needs and clinical presentation. The pathway, developed collaboratively by the NCP Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery and the NCP for Rheumatology, will deliver a standardised approach to the management of patients presenting with low back pain.
