The School is a national provider of undergraduate and postgraduate registration education programmes in nursing and midwifery and postgraduate programmes in health systems and health professions' education. The School is a leading research-intensive school with a large portfolio of programmatic and single-project research. The mission of the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems is to prepare nurses, midwives and other professionals to promote and protect health, wellbeing and dignity across the lifespan through skilled, ethical and careful practice based on best evidence and sound judgement, and to develop and disseminate disciplinary knowledge through research and scholarship.
