Packaging Operative
Job Overview The successful candidates will be based within the Operational areas of our Newry Facilities and will assist in the packaging of a wide variety of pharmaceutical products whilst ensuring that all operations are performed in line with GMP standards and Health and Safety guidelines. Our Manufacturing teams work to tight schedules, packing sterile and non-sterile products to meet Customer orders. They also work with our Quality teams to ensure that we produce high quality products at all times. Many of our manufacturing suites have been upgraded recently as part of our overall capital investment programme. Role Description: Corlann provides a wide range of services to people with an intellectual disability and to their families in Galway and Roscommon. This position is within the Health & Safety Department West Region. The Health & Safety Officer, as a member of the Health & Safety team, is a role designed to provide Health and Safety support to Corlann within County Roscommon Services, with a dual focus for the health and safety of employees of Corlann and for the people supported by Corlann. Reporting To: Health and Safety Manager West Region Qualifications/Experience: · The successful candidate must hold a Level 8 degree in Occupational Health and Safety. · The successful candidate must have minimum of 3 years’ experience in Health and Safety in an organisation. · Experience working in Healthcare/ Intellectual Disability setting is desirable. · A full clean Driving Licence (Class B) and use of own car is an essential requirement. After three years on the maximum point, a Long Service Increment applies bringing the annual salary to €67,695 gross basic per annum.
