Professional Qualifications, Experience etc. i) Hold a third level qualification to a minimum standard of Higher Certificate (Quality and Qualifications Ireland Level 6), in Mechanical, Electrical Services. Or ii) Possess a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 6 (or higher) Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical, fitter or plumber (or equivalent qualification). Or iii) Possess the National Craft Certificate issued by FETAC in Electrical, fitter or plumbing Or iv) Possess the Senior Trades Certificate issued by the Department of Education in Electrical, fitter or plumbing And (b) Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification / apprenticeship experience in maintenance of industrial, commercial and domestic type buildings. 2. Health A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. 3.
