Wellbeing • Design, develop and maintain a Wellbeing Programme and rolling calendar of events, informed by staff surveys, evaluation of previous initiatives, and organisational priorities to ensure continuous improvement, strategic alignment and responsiveness to staff needs across the organisation. • Implement and manage compliance with wellbeing related policies and initiatives, including reporting on the Period Provision Policy as required. • Identify, develop, coordinate and promote staff wellbeing initiatives each quarter in line with the programme – this will include sourcing relevant training/wellbeing activities and circulating updates, advice and guidance related to health and wellbeing. • Monitor and evaluate the impact of the wellbeing initiatives and report updates and findings on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to senior management. • Be NILGOSC’s Wellbeing champion and act as the main point of contact for wellbeing support and sign posting staff to appropriate sources of information and guidance. • Collaborate with management, Mental Health First Aiders and wellness volunteers to ensure wellbeing is embedded into everyday practices and ensure activities are actively promoted and uptake encouraged. • Develop and maintain a Health and Wellness hub on NILGOSC’s Intranet to ensure staff have easy access to the Wellbeing Programme, wellness initiatives, articles and other resources. • Control and monitor the Wellbeing budget to ensure activities are booked in line with the Wellbeing Programme and procurement requirements. • Collaborate and build relationships with external health and wellbeing organisations including NILGOSC’s Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider. • Represent NILGOSC at wellbeing-related events and forums. Corporate Management/Other Duties • Take ownership of/assist with any relevant procurement activity – this will include identifying needs, obtaining quotes, raising purchase orders, approving invoices for payment, preparing business cases, participating on tender panels and on-going contract management. • Undertake responsibilities in accordance with NILGOSC policies on governance, including liaising and dealing with queries from the external and internal auditors and breach reporting. • Support the HR Manager with the budget process by preparing annual budgetary information for all training and wellbeing activities (this will include gathering quotes and providing spend projections) and monitoring expenditure throughout the year. • Facilitate and/or participate in all aspects of the recruitment and selection of staff to NILGOSC. • Deputise for other staff and train staff when necessary, and to undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the HR Manager or Head of Governance and HR including the interchange of duties to cover annual leave/other absences. • Undertake responsibilities and process information/data in accordance with NILGOSC policies and procedures relating to information management (e.g. data protection, FOI and information security). • Support NILGOSC’s Equal Opportunity and Equality and Diversity policies and procedures; be sensitive to other people’s abilities, backgrounds, values, customs and beliefs; and promote a positive working environment in NILGOSC. Maintenance Technician - Permanent Location:  Grosvenor House, 5 Glengall St, Belfast, BT12 5AD Salary:  £28,264.6 per annum (£15.53 per hour, SP 25) Contract: Permanent Work hours:  35 hours per week – Full time Please note we do not offer sponsorship for this role.  Belfast Central Mission (BCM) is an award-winning leading charity with social care projects and social enterprises across Northern Ireland. With over 300 staff and volunteers. The Estates & Facilities team support all services across Northern Ireland to deliver vital services to people at their point of need. The team currently looks after a portfolio of 10 properties. This includes supported accommodation, care homes and 2 private dwellings. These are mixtures of joint and sole tenancies. The Estates & Facilities team supports the following: • Planned preventive and reactive maintenance. • Health and Safety requirements for the full organisation and all its sites. • Supports an external IT company to meet the organisations IT requirements. • Facilities management of Grosvenor House, Glengall Street, Belfast. Your new role  You will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including maintaining green spaces, identifying need for repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and servicing equipment throughout the business. To be an effective Maintenance officer, you will be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities.
