Multiskilled Technician
Reporting to the Senior Multiskilled Technician (Commercial Vehicles), the post holder is responsible for preparing, maintaining and repairing the Council’s fleet of approximately 200 vehicles, including road sweepers. This multiskilled role encompasses vehicle mechanics, vehicle electrics, and coach building (fabrication and bodywork), ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, cost effective, and operational. Dispense in-patient, out-patient, weekend -leave and staff prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist. II. Dispense ward stock lists. III. Co-ordinate dispensary workflow. IV. Co-ordinate medication ordering in a cost-efficient manner. V. Co-ordinate stock management processes including storage, returns, recycling, dispensary lay-out, medication waste and sustainability. VI. Ensure compliance with Falsified Medicines Directive and associated processes. VII. Co-ordinate out-of-hours trolley, first aid kits, emergency trays, patients’ own medicines.
