Role: Senior Grade Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Location: The successful candidate will have the possibility of hybrid working. The office base will be in Tullamore. Tenure: Full-time, permanent (pending probationary period) This is an exciting new service development within the Muiriosa Foundation. The successful candidate will become a key member of an evolving psychological services team led by the Principal Psychology Manager. The person appointed will work as part of the psychology team and in close collaboration with other clinicians in providing psychological assessment, formulation, and a range of interventions to supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and Autistic adults with high support needs. This post will involve in-reach service provision across Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, and Kildare. The Muiriosa Foundation promotes a human rights-based approach. Psychologists develop evidence-informed, and values led, interventions collaboratively with the person supported, following comprehensive assessment of each person’s strengths, needs and within the context of their environment. The successful candidate will work flexible hours depending on the needs of the individuals supported and their circles of support. Salary Range: £9,597 per annum £23,993 FTE / £12.21 per hour About Us: This role is focused on driving sales, managing stock, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a Northern Ireland Hospice retail shop. You’ll take responsibility for meeting sales targets, keeping donated goods well-presented and safe, and maintaining high standards across all areas of the shop. The job involves accurate cash handling, completing administrative tasks on time, and supporting the security and organisation of the store. You’ll also play a key part in recruiting, training, and motivating volunteers, creating a positive and efficient team environment. Flexibility is essential, as you may assist neighbouring shops and take part in local events and promotions that help support the Hospice’s vital work in the community. Duties and Responsibilities: Sales and Stock: • Strive to exceed sales targets for Donated Goods and other products, employing effective sales strategies. • Ensure the proper sorting, dating, pricing, and preparation of donated goods, always prioritising product safety and quality. • Responsible for maintaining and refreshing garments and footwear to ensure they are presented in pristine condition. • Build and maintain reliable sources of stock by actively networking with colleagues, the community, customers, and volunteers. • Execute routine stock control procedures, including timely culling, as needed by the Warehouse or Retail office. Administration: • Adhere to cash handling procedures, promptly depositing generated cash at the bank to minimise the risk of loss. • Complete all relevant administration tasks, including daily banking, within agreed timescales. • Ensure the shop's physical and operational security, implementing necessary measures. • Contribute to the recruitment and selection of shop volunteers. • Provide effective training to volunteers, ensuring they are well-equipped for their roles.
