Chief Operating Officer
The Role Reporting to the CEO of the NI Hospice and acting as a key Strategic and Operational Partner the postholder will have responsibility for providing insight and support to the development and implementation of strategic plans to deliver the charity’s vision, mission and objectives. They will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of critical business support functions of some 60 people. The functions within the scope of the role are Governance, Performance reporting and management, People and Organisational Development including Volunteer Services, Information and Communications Technology, Transformation and Estates services. Strong stakeholder management skills. Minimum of 5-7 years IT experience. Must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable interacting with Technical Specialists and be able to interact professionally with Senior Management locally and internationally. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to influence the business to show how the proposed solutions will deliver benefits and solve the problem identified. Experience managing or leading an infrastructure support team. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or relevant IT Degree. Non Essential Requirements Business Process Mapping Experience with SAP would be beneficial but not essential.
