Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Post Primary Mainstream Class Teachers in Solas Hospital School under a Specific Purpose Contract of Employment (12.5 hours per week). Solas Hospital School is co-located with Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin. As a hospital school we deliver education across various hospital settings, including both 1:1 sessions at the bedside and small multi-level groups in classroom settings. We provide an education service to children aged 4 to 18 yrs and across the full spectrum of educational needs. To qualify for appointment candidates must be able to comply with the following: ·Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under Route 2 (Post Primary) for one of the following subject areas: Science or English. ·Experience teaching in a medical setting with students with medical needs is desirable ·Experience supporting students in alternative or special education settings is beneficial. As the independent media regulator, Coimisiún na Meán is responsible for regulating broadcasters, video-on-demand providers and online platforms established in Ireland. Their wide-reaching remit also includes supporting and developing the Irish media sector. About This Role The Platform Supervision and Investigations division’s main function is to supervise digital services in Ireland and enforce the Digital Services Act (“DSA”), Terrorist Content Online Regulation and Online Safety Code. It consist of four supervisory teams, an Investigations team and a Regulatory Operations team which help determine regulatory strategy. The User Complaints team also sits in this division and is responsible for receiving complaints against service providers for alleged infringements of the DSA. This team progresses complaints in line with relevant legislation (section 201 of the Broadcasting Act 2009, as amended), and can also transmit complaints to the European Commission, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), and other DSCs across the EU as necessary.
