Senior Planning Officer

Job Summary To be responsible for the Planning team in ensuring the high standard of meeting individual and team targets and delivering a high and consistent standard of service delivery in respect of the Councils responsibilities and statutory functions in relation to Planning. Duration of Appointment Permanent. Work Pattern 36 hours Monday - Friday. All posts are eligible to participate in the Flexi Scheme. Post holders must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant. Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice. Location Location is Downpatrick or Newry. Postholders may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time. Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice. Salary PO4, SCP 37-40, currently £46,731 - £49,764 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked).

Trainee Dispenser
We have an excellent opportunity for a Part Time Trainee Dispenser to work 24 hours per week in our 10 Church Street, Bangor branch. Working between the hours of 9.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday and between 9.00am and 5.30pm Saturday. Applicants must be fully flexible to work according to the rota. Additional hours may be required from time to time. Working as part of a team duties can include; sales of over the counter medicines, providing customers with information on symptoms and products, prescription receipt and collection, working on Pillpac, date checking, and the ordering, receiving and storing of pharmaceutical stock.
