Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, fixed-term position Postdoctoral Researcher with the Confirm SFI Research Centre for Smart Manufacturing at the Data Science Institute in the National University of Ireland, Galway The successful candidate will work in the area of data acquisition, data federation, data processing, machine learning, data analytics, and decision making with applied use cases in Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0. The selected candidate will work on a project to research, design and build intelligent manufacturing systems. The project team will have an opportunity to work closely with our third-level and industry partners to pursue goal-oriented research. This position is funded by Science Foundation Ireland, and is available from the 1st October 2021 for one year, extendable up to 1.5 years subject to funding.
