The AT Network is currently recruiting a Part-Time Personal Assistant to assist a woman with disability to live an independent life. Áiseanna Tacaíochta (ÁT) provides leadership and support to people with disabilities to live with the independence, choice and freedom they are entitled to. For the first time in Ireland, we facilitate Direct Payments to people with disabilities, enabling them to take control of their own budgets, their own services and, ultimately, their own lives. Whilst your employment will lie with the AT Network you will work directly for the person. We act as intermediary between our members – who we call Leaders – and the Health Service Executive (HSE). The Personal Assistant is required to assist a woman with a physical disability in all aspects of daily living in her own home. The successful candidate will receive training and development in line with the role. This role is suitable for a highly motivated and reliable individual who is committed to providing care and supporting someone to live an independent life in their community. Pro Rata Teacher Appointments 2026-2027 City of Dublin Education and Training Board (ETB) is inviting applications for Pro Rata Teaching Positions that may arise for the 2026-2027 academic year, across Post Primary and Further Education settings. The contract will commence no later than 1st November 2026 and will run until 31st August 2027. All vacancies are subject to the Director of Redeployment agreeing to the posts being filled, following the completion of the Redeployment Scheme. All appointments are subject to assessment, confirmation and approval of academic qualifications for the jobs as advertised, confirmation of Teaching Council registration, confirmation of medical fitness to work and final sign off by the Chief Executive City of Dublin ETB. A number of the posts advertised are Specific Purpose, this means that they are there to provide cover for a teacher on officially approved leave e.g. career-break, job-share, secondment or to cover a teacher who has been internally reassigned within City of Dublin ETB. Successful candidates will initially be paid at the unqualified rate until such time as their qualifications have been assessed by a City of Dublin ETB Director. In order to receive the fully qualified rate Teaching Council registered subject(s) must match the post title appointed to and the registered route (i.e. second level / further education) match the centre appointed to. When this process is complete teachers will be placed on the correct point of the scale and any arrears due paid accordingly. Payment will be made monthly via EFT. Declaration: Applicants will be required to declare whether they have previously availed of a Public Service scheme of incentivised early retirement, including schemes not specifically mentioned above. Applicants will also be required to declare any entitlements to a Public Service pension benefit (in payment or preserved) from any other Public Service employment and/or where they have received a payment-in-lieu in respect of service in any Public Service employment.
