Location: Omagh Campus. Due to the nature of work within the College, it is anticipated that travel to all campus sites may be required. Main Duties and Responsibilities To assist in the implementation and updating of systems for the efficient and effective recording of the colleges work particularly in the area of Work Based Learning. To liaise and communicate with staff on all issues in relation to student, curriculum and timetabling information and to assist with the provision of onsite support to staff, including helpdesk services where appropriate. To be the point of contact and deal with all administration associated with the provision of Construction Skills Register (CSR) on Campus (when needed) including data input. To deal with all administration associated with Workbased Learning programmes to include, Skills for Life and Work, Apprenticeships NI, Traineeships, Entitlement Framework, Further Education and other Departmental Programmes. Collating information on the College Management Information Systems and external agencies. To assist in maintaining detailed records of trainees, participants and/or students, organise and maintain appropriate filing systems ensuring student, curriculum and timetabling data is kept secure at all times and records are appropriately maintained for audit. To liaise with Department for Economy / Jobs and Benefits Office, external agencies and employers and ensure the efficient transmission of all proforma between organisations to meet the required deadlines. To assist in maintaining detailed records of employers and other partner organisations. To keep up to date with relevant operational requirements and ensure compliance with all aspects. Preparation and running of trainee/participants wages and expense payments on a weekly basis on the management information system and the monthly claim liaising with finance department where appropriate. Operate College financial accounting systems and records in accordance with college procedures e.g. Bankers’ Automated Clearing System (BACS) and Agresso. To check and approve payments to trainees and associated supplier of services e.g. taxis, childminders. To assist in the preparation of financial claims for all Work Based Learning programmes. To assist in the preparation and compilation of statistical information extracted from the College Management Information systems on trainees/participants as requested. To contribute to the College quality assurance processes by developing and implementing procedures and documentation. To provide information to employers/other Work Based Learning organisations/subcontractors etc. as agreed between these organisations and the college. To maintain progress files, including word processing of records. To develop and maintain office procedures including maintaining databases and relevant filing system e.g. employer, partner organisations, trainee qualifications, tracking sheets etc. To carry out a range of administrative support including email, photocopying, faxing, duplicating and preparing agendas/minutes. To liaise with auditors and other internal or external stakeholders as required. Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Post: Advanced Nurse Practitioner Location: Adult Hospice, 74 Somerton Road, Belfast BT15 3LH Salary: Band 8A Hours: 37.5 hours per week Role The postholder will provide high quality, evidence based, specialist palliative care to patients and their families, with care, compassion and dignity. They will deliver advanced nursing practice, including clinical assessment and examination and nurse independent prescribing, in order to promote clinical effectiveness in all areas of patient care. The ANP will be an expert knowledge base for consultation, training and service development, and lead clinical practice across the Hospice, working collaboratively to deliver agreed organisational plans and strategy. To liaise with Waste Removal Operators when onsite to ensure accuracy of collections and removals. To ensure all equipment used is kept clean and in good condition and stored in the allocated areas. To ensure all work areas are kept clean. To operate machinery supplied for use in Waste Management and Cleaning and ensure all safety measures are met. Using the scrubber dryer and Buffer for maintained the floor. To remove waste from the area to be cleaned to the designated collection area and reline waste bin. · To remove linen, and scrubs as appropriate from the area to be cleaned to the designated collection area. Wash walls/ledges/ doors/windows & ledges/sanitary ware, furniture, fixtures & fittings/phones and equipment as per specification. Using appropriate equipment damp dust high level surfaces. Dust control/vacuum and/or mop floors and stairs as per specification. Use machinery equipment: scrubber dry & buff to maintain the floors. Restock disposables and consumables as required. Carry out Deep cleans in all departments as per request. Ensure all cleaning equipment its cleaned and disinfected daily. Ensure all cleaning cloths & mopheads are washed and dried after every use. Ensure all checklists are signed off as required and returned to the manager/supervisor. Keep clinical bin stores in clean and well-maintained condition. Greet and engage with patients. Qualifications & Experience: Previous Housekeeping experience in a Healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. Full training is provided. Good interpersonal skills. The provision of customer service is paramount and customer care is a key element of the role. High level attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy in all duties.
