GP Liaison, University Maternity Hospital
Start date to be negotiated. Expression of Interest 2025 GP Liaison – Cork University Maternity Hospital Who should apply CUMH is looking to recruit a General Practitioner with an active interest and relevant qualification(s) in women’s health. The GP Liaison will be expected to build relationships with and be the main point of contact for GPs through the provision of a high standard liaison, support and communication. He /she will be the link person within CUMH for General Practitioners. They will be responsible to ensure local CUMH care pathways and guidelines are disseminated to GPs in a timely manner in order to facilitate knowledge sharing and professional development. They will be supported in exploring opportunities to conduct audits and clinical research. They will also liaise with the Consultant Obstetrician overseeing the training for GP NCHDs on rotation in CUMH. The job holder will take a leading role in driving attendance to our education events to attract GPs, health practitioners, and other referrers, to our education evenings. They will also act as secretary to the CUMH GP Committee. The time commitment for these roles equates to 1 session per week, morning or afternoon (0.06WTE).
