PAYROLL & OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR FULL-TIME ROLE Murphy Facility Solutions is a well-established company providing cleaning, pest control, hygiene and site facility solutions for a broad range of clients in the domestic, commercial, industrial & pharmaceutical sectors. Position Overview Experienced payroll and office administrator required to take full responsibility for maintaining the operations payroll & accounts receivable function within the business based at our offices in Carlow. You will join a vibrant team in a challenging and fast paced dynamic work environment. Our facility has free on-site parking. Key Responsibilities include: • Responsible for the timely preparation & processing of high volume weekly payroll • Deal with all payroll related matters • Maintain payroll reports & reconciliations • Strict adherence to deadlines in the processing and submission of Revenue returns • Report on weekly payroll to HR and Finance teams • Managing accounts receivable and the timely collection of debtors ledger • Accounts support, HR Support & general office administration duties Qualifications / Experience: o IPASS - QQI accredited qualification in payroll techniques o Qualified accounting technician or relevant third level qualification o Minimum of 3 years payroll experience, SAGE Micropay & Sage HR or similar o Extensive knowledge of Employment Legislation o High Proficiency in Microsoft office applications o Ability to plan, prioritise, multi task and meet multiple tight deadlines o Excellent customer service & communication skills o Willingness to be a team player & ability to work on own initiative o Previously worked in a fast paced service environment would be advantageous Salary: Salary will commensurate with experience.  CLICK THE APPLY NOW BUTTON TO UPLOAD YOUR CV Don't have a current CV? Job Description Duration: Temporary contract post, the indicative duration of which is approx. 6 - 9 months, subject to contract. A panel may be formed from which future similar vacancies may be filled; such a panel will remain active for a maximum period of 12 months. Basic Function The Walsh Scholarships Development Officer will be responsible for developing, co-ordinating and implementing development activities to support and promote the Teagasc Walsh Scholarships Programme. Background The Teagasc Walsh Scholarships Programme is a postgraduate programme offering Scholarships to graduates to undertake research in agriculture, food, environmental science, agri-food economics, rural development, horticulture and other related disciplines. The programme aims to develop intellectual capital within the agri-food sector and wider economy; increase Teagasc’s research and knowledge transfer capacity and support the development of new areas of research in Teagasc. The programme has grown significantly over the years and Teagasc now has 260 Walsh Scholars across its research and knowledge transfer programmes with an annual investment of €6m from Teagasc grant in aid and from competitive funding awards such as the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine’s FIRM, Stimulus and CoFord programmes. Job Objectives The duties and responsibilities listed below reflect the broad nature of the activities for this role. However, the duties assigned to the successful candidate will be adjusted to reflect their skills and the duration of the contract. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Other As this role will involved driving vehicles, candidates must satisfy and continue to satisfy during employment with Teagasc, legal requirements to drive a car unaccompanied on Irish public roads. Eligibility This is an open public competition. Should a current serving Teagasc staff member be successful in their application through open public competition for this post, their current contract of employment with Teagasc will come to an end on taking up this post. Salary:   Research Officer with a Salary Scale of €38,558 to €74,094
