I was very impressed upon my arrival in the garage, state of the art equipment and a paint shop for body repairs. What I liked most about my time as an apprentice was the variety of work. From mechanical, to prepping buses for painting, to tracing electrical faults, there was always something different and interesting to do! There were also many challenges from carrying out repairs in a time sensitive manner to training and upskilling to meet the demands of new technologies on our buses.I have enjoyed my time and would have no hesitation in recommending Bus Éireann as an employer.
