Senior Physiotherapist in Paediatric Obesity & Endocrinology Purpose of the Role: Provide appropriate physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment in accordance with current best practice to infants and children referred to Physiotherapy for management of childhood obesity. This intervention will be primarily outpatient-based including participation in the delivery of out-of-hour weight management group treatment programmes, but will also incorporate inpatient service provision as required. Essential Criteria: · Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU – candidates must state CORU registration number on application, or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number in the case of section 91 applicants. This intervention will be primarily outpatient-based and will incorporate specialties such as elective and trauma Orthopaedics and other specialties requiring musculoskeletal physiotherapy input. Essential Criteria: · Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU – candidates must state CORU registration number on application, or CORU application number and date of submission if still awaiting registration number in the case of section 91 applicants.
