Patient Advocate Liaison (Spinal Services, Grade VII) Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this post is to develop strategies to enable increased Patient Advocacy, Patient and Family partnership across the Hospital/Hospital Group and specifically in the CHI Spinal Unit. It will amalgamate the tertiary and quaternary national services currently spread over two sites (Crumlin and Temple Street) onto a new and purpose built site. We currently have 2 Emergency departments (one on each site currently) which rank amongst the busiest in Europe. We have a PICU on each site providing a combined number of 32 PICU/HDU beds. Across site we provide all the specialist services you would expect to see at a world class paediatric hospital including cardiac surgery, ECMO, neurosurgery, maxillo-facial and renal transplant to name a few. We can provide higher level training in paediatric anaesthesia and fellowship standard experience. The salary scale linked to these positions is €63, 078 to €74, 280. Entry point will be in line with HSE incremental credit guidelines.
