The LCCC Programme Coordinator focus is on a number of key programmes, initiatives and objectives with an outcome-based focus including, but not limited to, Belfast Region City Deal. The Council's Innovation Team is leading, managing and developing the achievement of the Council's transformation agenda. As a member of this team, the post holder will be required to support the Head of Innovation, Director of Organisation Development and Innovation, Chief Executive, Elected Members and the Senior Management Team, working with key partners across a wide spectrum of services to oversee the programme delivery of strategic innovation and corporate programmes. The Council's current corporate priorities include Belfast Region City Deal, the Community Plan and programmes emerging from the Council's 10 Year Investment Plan proposition. To be responsible for providing support and governance to Project SROs and Project Leads for ensuring all financial planning, administration, documentation and reporting of projects is achieved. To prepare and oversee, in conjunction with Corporate Finance, robust financial estimates and budget management for both the unit and the projects. To ensure compliance with the Council's financial regulations and departmental monitoring systems. To prepare and draw down claims in line with accounting standards. To represent the Head of Innovation in preparing and delivering Committee reports to Full Council, or other Council committees, sub-committees and steering groups.
