MTS is looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking person to join the business. This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who wants to learn a specialised industry, take on responsibility and build a long-term career. You’ll be working directly with me and learning everything from: * Vehicle technology installations * GPS tracking systems * Remote tachograph systems * Customer support * Organising jobs and day-to-day operations * Problem-solving and fault finding * Learning how the business operates both in the office and out on the road The role is a genuine mix of office work and being out on the road. We look after customers throughout Ireland, so there is plenty of driving involved. You’ll spend time learning our systems, dealing with customers, travelling to customer sites, fitting equipment, setting systems up and helping customers get up and running. Requirements: * Full, clean Irish driving licence held for at least 2-3 years (essential) * Fluent English (essential) * Good attitude and willingness to learn * Reliable, punctual and hardworking * Comfortable dealing with customers * Comfortable using computers and technology * Practical and good with your hands * Able to work on your own initiative * Enjoys driving, variety and problem-solving * Willing to get stuck in and take on responsibility An interest in trucks, transport and the haulage industry would be a definite advantage, but direct experience isn’t essential. Full training will be provided. following successful completion of training and a qualifying period of employment, your hourly rate will increase There will occasionally be late evenings, overnight stays and the odd weekend when the job requires it, but the flexibility works both ways. The role will initially start with a training and trial period to make sure it’s the right fit for both sides. Following successful completion of training and a qualifying period of employment, your hourly rate will increase. I’m looking for a genuine, down-to-earth person who can be depended on and doesn’t need to be constantly told what to do. Maintenance Technician Job Overview Norbrook Laboratories Ltd is seeking to recruit a multi-skilled Shift Maintenance Technician based within our Maintenance Department the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day to day electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility comprising of both preventive and reactive duties. The candidate is a critical member of Central Services Maintenance team and will take the lead role in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machinery forming part of our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The individual must also be willing to perform maintenance tasks for production output support as part of a team. The purpose of this role is to operate as part of our expanding team in the production of precast concrete products in accordance with Company standards and targets, adhering to the daily production plan e.g., preparing moulds, pouring concrete, producing all planned products, carrying out tasks effectively and meeting health and safety standards. As part of our growing team, you will be contributing to the construction Industry and also award-winning Coastal Protection, Road and Rail projects across the UK and Ireland. Hours of work: Hours will be variable between 32-48 hours per week as needed. Standard hours of work will be Monday – Friday 06:00am – 15:00pm, 07:00 – 16:00pm or 08:00am – 17:00pm, however flexibility to work overtime and/or Saturdays as necessary is essential. Job responsibilities: To comply with the SHEQ Safety, Health, Environment and Quality management system. To participate in all aspects of the Operational Excellence approach. To read drawings and plans accurately and relay correct information. Attention to detail within drawings and plans. To setup precast units including moulds, positions for reinforcement, lifters, and to achieve specified concrete finishes. Liaise with the Technical Department to resolve any issues. To maintain adherence to the daily production plan e.g., moulds prepared, all planned products produced, tasks being carried out efficiently etc. To participate in any training as agreed per the plan. To communicate daily with the Team Leader on progress. To complete all daily required production records e.g., Timesheets. To achieve an acceptable level of housekeeping. To participate in continue improvement and problem-solving initiative. Ability to work flexibly within the Production department and work within any area required. Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3 in Construction or similar. And/or 3 years’ experience in reading drawings and pour setups.. Work experience in construction or civil engineering related projects. The ability to read technical/construction drawings. Understanding of Health & Safety at work. Good Communication and teamwork experience. Willing to clean and maintain work area. An understanding of both written and spoken English. Desirable Criteria: (The following skills would be an advantage) Experience with hand/air and power tools. Counterbalance forklift licence or overhead crane licence. CSR / First Aid / Fire Warden Training.
