Maintenance Technician Job Overview Norbrook Laboratories Ltd is seeking to recruit a multi-skilled Shift Maintenance Technician. Based within our Maintenance Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility comprising both preventive and reactive duties. The candidate is a critical member of the Central Services Maintenance team and will take the lead role in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machinery forming part of our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The individual must also be willing to perform maintenance tasks for production output support as part of a team. This Division employs advanced analytics and state-of -the-art technologies to oversee compliance, analyse trends, and provide critical insights to the various business units within Comisiún na Meán. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Horizon Scanning: Lead the team in identifying and assessing technologies such as AI, recommender systems, and age assurance to determine their impact on regulation. • AI and Algorithm Oversight: Oversee the analysis of AI systems and recommender algorithms to understand how they influence content delivery and affect user safety.
