The Role: The Customer Service & Operations Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. In this role, the Customer Service & Operations Coordinator will lead from the front and take responsibility for the successful and timely execution of all requirements needed to provide the highest level of service [ at all levels of customer engagement ] and in parallel execute business objectives/KPI’s, with the goal of driving sales growth. About this role Key Responsibilities:
General Operator
To operate machinery and equipment in all areas of the plant as and when required and to deal with the acceptance and processing of plastic waste in compliance with all legislative and administrative requirements. The role is for shift work operating on a three shift rotating cycle. Key Responsibilities To carry out all required general operative duties which may include, but which will not be limited to: • processing of plastic waste as required • operation of equipment such as shredders, wash plant and extruder as required • loading and unloading of vehicles as required • additional services developed or offered by the company • To conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company’s waste licence • To complete all paperwork and administration necessary as requested by your supervisor or as the business needs dictate • To adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times, including but not limited to: • To wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) at all times • To highlight any safety concerns to your Manager immediately and to report any accidents/ incidents to your Manager immediately • To report all non-conformances to the relevant personnel and to follow up to ensure compliance requirements are met • To ensure that housekeeping is kept to a high standard around the site and that all activities comply with health and safety requirements • To communicate any issues that arise to the Operations Manager/ Supervisor immediately • To attend plant meetings, company meetings, training courses etc. as required • To provide direct operational support to any and all areas of the business as required and as reasonably requested by the company including but not limited to support for off site operations (e.g. waste oil and garage services, field services) • To be flexible to carry out other duties as may be requested of your Manager from time to time • To communicate any issues that arise within the plant/ process to the Production Manager or next most appropriate person immediately • To maintain vehicles, work equipment, materials and PPE clean and in working order and to report any loss or damage immediately • To carry out checks , inspections and audits as directed The above description is a general outline of the requirements of the role. Overview of role: UPMC Whitfield are recruiting a Housekeeping Operative on a part-time 25 hour 11 Month FTC Contract. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Cleaning of Clinical & Non-Clinical department. Waste removals and management. Follow all SOPs and policies. To ensure all Waste, both Domestic and Clinical, is removed, processed, and stored using the standard agreed under the Waste Management Policy. To liaise with Waste Removal Operators when onsite to ensure accuracy of collections and removals. To ensure all equipment used is kept clean and in good condition and stored in the allocated areas. To ensure all work areas are kept clean. To operate machinery supplied for use in Waste Management and Cleaning and ensure all safety measures are met. Using the scrubber dryer and Buffer for maintained the floor. To remove waste from the area to be cleaned to the designated collection area and reline waste bin. · To remove linen, and scrubs as appropriate from the area to be cleaned to the designated collection area. Wash walls/ledges/ doors/windows & ledges/sanitary ware, furniture, fixtures & fittings/phones and equipment as per specification. Using appropriate equipment damp dust high level surfaces. Dust control/vacuum and/or mop floors and stairs as per specification. Use machinery equipment: scrubber dry & buff to maintain the floors. Restock disposables and consumables as required. Carry out Deep cleans in all departments as per request. Ensure all cleaning equipment its cleaned and disinfected daily. Ensure all cleaning cloths & mopheads are washed and dried after every use. Ensure all checklists are signed off as required and returned to the manager/supervisor. Keep clinical bin stores in clean and well-maintained condition. Greet and engage with patients. Qualifications & Experience: Previous Housekeeping experience in a Healthcare setting is desirable but not essential. Full training is provided. Good interpersonal skills. The provision of customer service is paramount and customer care is a key element of the role. High level attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy in all duties. Profile of Craft Core Skills Carpentry & Joinery Construction The Trade of Carpentry & Joinery is very wide and varied, it encompasses most of the skills required by the Wood Trades. These skills required of the Carpenter & Joiner are not confined to those required to work in wood but include skills in the use of metals, plastics and fabrics. The Carpenter & Joiner is also required to work in a cross section of domains within the overall trade. The following are some examples: Joinery Shop: This section of the occupation requires the Carpenter & Joiner to engage in setting out, production and assembling items of joinery which include stairs, doors, windows and built-in furniture.
