The Operational Guidance & Policy Business Unit is dedicated to the provision of clear and current operational guidance, policy, and associated training material, and to the alignment of established NIFRS good practice with National Operational Guidance.  Watch Commanders - Operational Guidance and Policy (Day Duty) perform a vital role within NIFRS, leading others to deliver excellent performance and supporting Middle Management to deliver against a demanding change agenda. Please note that NIFRS will create a reserve list for 12 months should any further Watch Commander – Operational Guidance and Policy (Day Duty) vacancies arise after the initial appointments.
