WGH Operations Manager Clinical Services
Wexford General Hospital is currently recruiting an Operations Manager Clinical Services Grade VIII. The successful candidate will support the Hospital Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the hospital, whilst having a lead responsibility for Business Performance Management and Improvement for Clinical Services. The post holder will be the Executive Lead for Scheduled Care and will lead the Scheduled Care Team within Wexford General Hospital (including Ely Hospital), providing a focus for waiting list transformation, performance management and standardisation. The post holder will lead and ensure ongoing development of a team with capacity and skills to support clinical directorates in delivering improvements in waiting times and pathways for our patients. They will drive a standardised approach to the management of all scheduled care waiting lists and protocols in Wexford General Hospital. The post holder will identify, initiate and lead on a range of waiting list transformation initiatives. Collaboratively working with teams on site, to enable delivery, the post holder will lead on provision of insightful, accurate and timely waiting list performance data, to the Hospital’s Executive, HSE Dublin & South East and other stakeholders as required. They will work closely with our developing IT team in the provision of performance reporting and management for clinical services, particularly scheduled care. The Operations Manager Clinical Services will work as part of the Hospital Executive in pursuing the Hospital’s objectives and contribute to the strategic development of Wexford General Hospital. The post-holder will work closely with the Operational Manager General Services, the Hospital’s Clinical Director, all members of the Executive Management Team and the Assistant Director of Nursing for Peri-Operative Services. Physiotherapist, Senior, University Hospital
University Hospital Kerry : In Kerry, the physiotherapy service is integrated across the Integrated Health Areas (Acute and Community). The post holder will have strong links with all community services and UHK services. They will provide expert care, both within the acute setting in UHK and outpatient settings across the county. University Hospital Kerry is the second largest of the Health Service Executive South West's seven acute hospitals. The hospital provides acute general hospital services to the population of Co. Kerry (147,707) and additionally, to a proportion of the populations of West Limerick and North Cork. The successful candidate will join the Physiotherapy Department, University Hospital Kerry which provides a service across many of the specialities of the hospital including specialist palliative care, older persons, stroke rehabilitation, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, cardiology, respiratory, pelvic health, and musculoskeletal. As the Physiotherapy service in Kerry is integrated across acute and community care services, the post holder may be required to rotate into a senior role within the community based Older Persons services. The successful candidate will be involved in providing on-call cover as part of the general physiotherapy service within UHK via an agreed roster, and will be required to participate in the Christmas holiday period rota. The post holder will work in conjunction with the other members of the Neurology / Gerontology Physiotherapy team to provide high quality Neurology / Gerontology services in UHK. This post will have an inpatient and outpatient remit. The post holder will have a strong working relationship with the Neurology / Gerontology Physician’s team and the wider Physiotherapy service both within UHK and across community services in Kerry
