STAFF NURSE LAOIS DAY SERVICES Permanent Full Time Contract – 75 Hours Per Fortnight We are continuously growing and looking for talented and enthusiastic Nurses to join our team. Essential requirements for the role include a commitment to developing and implementing Person Centred Plans and Care Support Plans that are in keeping with the vison, values, choice, skills, will and preference of each person within the day service setting. Be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with each individual, their families, other professionals and people important in the individual’s life. Be flexible and capable of managing priorities within their workload. They should be competent to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player supporting their colleagues. To maintain up to date and accurate records to ensure a high standard of care and support is provided to each person we support at all times. Experience in and commitment to developing supports that are person centred. 6-month probation period applies. 37.5 Hours a week contract. Salary: Scale 3 (SCP 7 – 9) £25,584 - £26,409 per annum, pro rata, plus shift allowance and weekend enhancement JOB PURPOSE: Committing to the one-team ethos, you will be flexible and collaborative and you will actively support all colleagues and other activities necessary to deliver the service objectives. Remain fully conversant with all emergency procedures and take part in emergency situations, providing emergency care as required. 4. Conduct inspection and cleaning duties, keep records up-to-date and fix or promptly report faults to ensure that all areas of the site are clean, tidy, and hygienic and facilities and equipment are fit for a safe and enjoyable customer experience. 5. Conduct effective set up/take down tasks to ensure facilities and equipment are prepared for a safe and enjoyable customer experience throughout the site. 6. Provide support, guidance and encouragement to gym users on how to use equipment, ensuring a safe and enjoyable fitness session, providing customer inductions, exercise programmes and instruction on all aspects of fitness and gym equipment. 7. Assist with activity programmes as required. 8. Make all customers feel welcome and comfortable and ensure that they are benefiting from the services provided in the Gym/Centre and assist with all forms of customer communications. 9. Ensure that all customers are fully informed with respect to the facilities, services, products and prices available to them and promote and/or sell all products and activities within the site and within the Leisure Services portfolio. 10. Conduct exit interviews/surveys with leaving members to understand issues around customer retention. 11. Carry out reception duties and assist with administration, financial and cash handling duties for the effective operation of the site. 12. Conduct facility tours as required. 13. Be flexible and collaborative and actively support all colleagues and other activities or processes, which impact on the performance of the Centre. 14. Undertake any other relevant duties that may be required and are commensurate with the nature and grade of the post. Qualifications and training • A recognised Fitness (Level 2, or equivalent) qualification. USBF Investment Committee Member
Purpose of the Ulster-Scots Broadcast Fund: The aim of the Ulster-Scots Broadcast Fund (USBF) is to ensure that the heritage, culture and language of Ulster-Scots are expressed through moving image for a Northern Ireland audience. The USBF is also open to supporting radio and interactive content and funds a trainee scheme designed to attract production trainees who are passionate and knowledgeable about Ulster-Scots. Decisions to allocate resources from the USBF are taken in line with the assessment criteria outlined in the USBF Guidelines and USBF Priorities (click each to view). Key amongst these criteria is the level to which the project makes a contribution to the status and promotion of Ulster-Scots, and clear evidence that each broadcast production and digital project will reach a substantial audience in Northern Ireland.
