Procurement Officer
The postholder will provide professional procurement advice, support and training to ensure a consistent approach to procurement throughout Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. The postholder will be responsible for providing professional support across all areas of procurement, ensuring compliance with legislation, delivery of organisational policies, achieving and assisting with service improvements, and working closely with Council Senior Managers to develop optimum sourcing options, ensuring value for money is achieved through procurement best practice. Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council. Support Worker
NIGHT SUPPORT WORKERS Do you have 6 Months’ experience (paid or voluntary) of supporting people in a caring role and a full current driving license with access to a car? MACS provides 24/7 supported housing for young people leaving care who are aged between 16 and 21. Young people can live with us for up to 2 years before moving into the community. Support Workers provide an accessible point of contact at night and weekends to promote the protection and safeguarding of young people living at MACS and help them to build skills and confidence to maintain their own homes. PLEASE NOTE: These roles are predominantly Waking Night shifts. Development Support Officer
