Innovation / Data Analyst – ICT Dept Role Summary The post holder will be part of the ICT team that supports the implementation and development of the new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, the new Electronic Prescribing system, and supports the achievement of the strategic digital transformation objectives of the hospital. Principal Duties and Responsibilities · Actively support the ongoing optimisation of the EPR system; analysing and suggesting ways to improve current workflows and working practices. · Work with the EPR System Manager on data quality in accordance to ensure that the new EPR system is robust, consistent and accurate. · Collaborate with clinical & operational staff to identify system enhancements and streamline workflows and work with the EPR System Manager to deliver a prioritised list of continuous improvements. · Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide actionable management information and business intelligence from patient record system data. · Act as a key driver for our Digital Transformation strategic objective, actively identifying and promoting innovative uses of technology within the clinical and operational settings. · Research and evaluate emerging technologies and best practices in healthcare informatics and data analytics. · Lead or participate in projects aimed at leveraging data and technology to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and staff experience. · Perform any other duties as may be reasonably required.
