The Curriculum Manager will oversee the Engineering Curriculum Area one day per week, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, cost-effective, efficient, and legally compliant curriculum. This will be achieved within a culture that fosters innovation, recognises high performance, and celebrates success. The role contributes directly to the overall achievement, outcomes, and success of both the curriculum area and the College. For four days per week, the Curriculum Manager will lead the strategic development, implementation, and management of the Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing HUB across the Northern Ireland Further Education Sector. This involves aligning engineering education and training with industry needs through targeted curriculum development, proactive stakeholder engagement, workforce development initiatives, event coordination, and ongoing evaluation to ensure continuous improvement and sector-wide impact.
Technician Demonstrator
The post-holder will provide technical workshop/salon/laboratory assistance to lecturers in support of the education and training of students and trainees within all curricular areas. The post holder will be responsible for developing relationships with businesses in the area of Automation and Engineering (PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Automation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Smart Manufacturing, etc). They will help businesses by specifying their requirements, new product development and consulting and sharing their knowledge by upskilling.
