Consultant In Paediatric Emergency Medicine
Purpose of the Role: This post along with the other Paediatric Emergency Medicine consultants will facilitate appropriate responsive consultant presence to ensure appropriate safe patient care within the Emergency and Urgent Care departments. The new model of care will deliver on the vision of the National Model of Care for Paediatric Healthcare Services (2016), for the delivery of safe and appropriate care to paediatric patients, as close to home as possible so that children and young people with urgent care needs get the right advice at the right place, first time. Within the Emergency departments and Urgent Care settings, the consultants will also oversee the short stay observation model, which helps prevent inpatient admissions and is associated with reduced average length of stay, reduced hospital costs and high levels of parental satisfaction. Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist
Purpose of Role: The new appointee will deliver all required elements of the national gastroenterology service in conjunction with the current consultants in the GHIFT department. This includes full participation in the clinical service week rosters and on call rota of the paediatric gastroenterology consultants. The appointee will be expected to provide leadership and participate in departmental administrative work, local committee-work pertaining to the department and represent the department as needed. Essential Criteria: Mandatory Professional Qualifications and Experience a) Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of paediatrics And b) A minimum of 3 years certified postgraduate training in paediatric gastroenterology “The successful interviewee must be registered as a specialist in the relevant specialty on the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council of Ireland, within 180 days of the day of interview and before taking up appointment. Profile of Craft Plumbing work involves the installation and maintenance of plumbing, heating and mechanical services on domestic, commercial and industrial projects, including houses, schools, hospitals, office blocks, apartment blocks, factories as well as pharmaceutical, chemical, food/drink processing facilities. These installations comprise of a wide range of services including pipefitting, welding, soldering on central heating systems, air handling systems, solar heating, hot and cold water supplies, sanitary appliances and sanitation systems, gas pipelines and appliances, compressed air, fire control, steam, chilled water systems and process pipework. Metal Fabrication Apprentice
First Year Apprentice Vacancy As a Welder Apprentice, you will learn and develop the skills required to become a proficient welder under the supervision of experienced welders and supervisors. This position provides on-the-job training, allowing you to assist in various welding projects while gaining hands-on experience in welding techniques, safety procedures, and the operation of welding equipment. The successful applicant will be trained at the Central premises as per the Solas apprenticeship programme and college attendance will also be required. Profile of Craft The Metal Fabricator’s job includes the reading of drawings, working with materials such as low carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and aluminium. The fabricator is involved in such industries as constructional steel, pressure vessel, tank and boiler manufacture, ship building and ship repair also general engineering. The skills required are wide and varied. They include skills such as measuring, marking out, cutting and welding materials using different processes and assembly techniques. The Metal Fabricator will spend some time outdoors and may be required to work on heights.
