Our Sandymount office is located in a vibrant seaside village with a welcoming community feel. The office is served by the DART commuter train and central bus routes, making it easily commutable from the city and surrounding areas. Contract Type: Permanent Post. Contract Hours: 1 WTE post: Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. 0.92 WTE post: Working 37.5 hours per week, with 4 weeks of unpaid leave (or non-working time) in August.* *Salary paid over 12 months. Salary Scale: The current salary scale for this post is €32,640 to €39,499 pro rata per annum*. * The pro-rated salary for this role will be paid monthly over a 12-month period . This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement : 30 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. The preschool is part of Enable Ireland services to children and families within the CHO6 area providing preschool, ECCE and CCS programmes in the preschool environment in compliance with Tusla Guidelines. Ballinasloe is the largest town in County Galway. The town has excellent junior and secondary schools and is close to the University of Galway and the Technology University of Shannon in Athlone. The town is served by public transport to the major centres. The area offers an abundance of sports, leisure and entertainment facilities. Education & Training: Portiuncula University Hospital is a recognised site for training of undergraduate medical students from University of Galway and graduate entry medical students from University of Limerick. We are an accredited site for intern training for the West North West Intern Training program. We offer Basic Specialist Training in General Medicine to Senior House Officers on the RCPI training program and also an approved site with the ICGP West training scheme for GP training. We have international trainees on the CPSP program through RCPI and we also have Basic and Higher Specialist trainees in Surgery, Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
