Purpose of the Post The post of CNM2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within this clinical area at St Columcille’s Hospital. The main responsibilities are Quality Assurance, Resource Management, Staffing and Staff Development, Practice Development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership. The post holder will be expected to develop pathways for the service users and co-ordinate clinics in consultation with other stakeholders so as to maximise the resources available. The CNM2 Centre of Obesity Management will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of effective quality assured patient centred care. Diabetic Retinal Treatment, Doctor Required FOR Maternity Leave Cover

This post will involve a role in the Diabetic Retinal Treatment Centre . Weekly sessions will include: Candidate must hold active registration with the Irish Medical Council. Hold current permit/visa to work in Ireland DUTIES 1 To perform an Ophthalmic service in the Eye Department of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. 2 To report to the Consultant Ophthalmologist / Clinical Lead – Head of Department, Ophthalmology. 3 To liaise with other medical, paramedical, nursing and administrative staff when appropriate. 4 To be involved in teaching and clinical audit. To be involved in epidemiological and other research into eye problems as required. To make such statistical reports and returns as are required in conjunction with the Consultant Ophthalmologists. To liaise closely with the existing Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeons with particular reference to patients who require surgical treatment. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS REPORTS TO: Consultant Ophthalmologist (Clinical Lead – Head of Department Ophthalmology) WORKS WITH: a)Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeons and other professional staff at the Eye Department, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin. b)Other appropriate medical, nursing, and technical personnel in the hospital. c)Community Ophthalmic Physicians, General Practitioners, Diabetic Clinical Nurse Specialists and Public Health Nurses in community care, general practice, or other health institutions, local authority and voluntary bodies. d)Administrative staff in arranging clinics and making returns.

Music Generation/Musician Educator
Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan is a performance music education service in Counties Cavan and Monaghan that provides opportunities for children and young people to access a range of high quality, subsidised vocal and instrumental tuition in their local area. Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan is part of the national programme of Music Generation, which was Initiated by Music Network. Music Generation is co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Youth and Local Music Education Partnerships (LMEPs). Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan is managed locally by Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) and Monaghan and Cavan County Councils. CMETB, as lead partner for Music Generation Cavan/Monaghan, now wishes to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Musicians / Musician Educators to join its panel to deliver the following programmes: 1. Early Years Programme (ages 2-5) A responsive early years’ music-making programme that places creative exploration of meaningful music-making at its core. 2. Schools Programme (ages 5-18) A dynamic and inclusive musicianship programme, which will include the voice as the main instrument for primary schools. Instrumental provision features as part of our programme: this includes various genres of music for both primary & secondary schools 3. Community Music Programme (ages 7-18) A dynamic, multi-genre programme in hubs with structured weekly tuition on various instruments & genres building skills to enable ensemble opportunities for creating and performing. Music Technology programmes will also feature, to address young people’s needs. 4. Inclusive Programme (ages 5-18) An inclusive and progressive music-making programme for children and young people with additional educational needs-including Autism and Asperger’s. This programme will be delivered in schools and in community settings. Musicians / Musician Educators will work with children and young people in group contexts and may work on one or more programmes at any given time. Musician Educators may be required to deliver programmes in person and/or online, as required. Tuition and rehearsals may take place within school hours, outside of school hours, during weekends and/or school holidays. Tuition, Meetings and Professional Development The role of a Musician Educator working on Music Generation programmes will require: · delivery of high-quality performance music education (in person and/or online, as required). · attendance at and engagement with Continuing Professional Development and training. · participation in planning and other such meetings as required by the Music Development Officer. · any other reasonable duties as may be determined from time to time. The Musician Educator role will require: · collaboration as a member of the Musician Educator team on the creation of programmes. · creation of online content to support the delivery of work.
