Role Purpose As Project Administrator for the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Ireland, you will be at the heart of a dynamic, international initiative that empowers Irish SMEs to grow, innovate, and compete globally. You’ll provide essential coordination, digital and financial administration, and stakeholder support across a national consortium, helping deliver high-impact services and events. This role blends precision, creativity, and collaboration — supporting the world’s largest SME support network from within Enterprise Ireland’s Centre of Excellence. Key Deliverables Administration & Support with Delivery of EEN Services • Setting up internal and consortium Ireland meetings • Ongoing support to EEN partners in managing queries on metrics, branding, websites, events, and other relevant matters • Disseminating enquiries from the central EEN email inbox to relevant partners • Circulating information on EEN events and training opportunities • Maintaining KPI and budget tracking systems • Reviewing and inputting Time & Activity data for EI/EEN staff Digital Systems & Website Management • Maintaining the Enterprise Europe Network Ireland website – frontend and internal shared systems • Liaising with website developers and consortium partners on content updates • Collaborating with consortium partners to coordinate impactful social media/media postings, promoting the role of the network and ensuring continuous engagement with EEN’s online presence Finance Administration and Reporting • Issue payment invoices and ensure timely processing in line with EI procedures • Liaise with the Finance Department regarding EEN project spend, budget tracking, and financial queries • Complete periodic EEN financial reporting templates in collaboration with the Programme Finance Lead and EEN Coordinator • Assist in preparing financial documentation for European Commission reporting, including grant-related data and KPI reports • Review and input Time & Activity data for EI/EEN Team Event Coordination & Organisation • Collaborating with the wider EEN Ireland Team on joint organisation of brokerage events with cross-border colleagues • Assisting in preparation for stakeholder-organised events • Liaising and networking with internal and external stakeholders and event hosts • Researching and curating content for the EEN Ireland website and social media channels • Assisting EEN partners in promoting events through social media, the EEN website, and EU campaigns Functional Competencies • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail is essential • Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building experience is essential • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms is essential • Experience with website CMS and social media coordination is highly desirable • Familiarity with budget tracking, invoice processing, and financial reporting, ideally within a public or EU-funded context is an advantage • Ability to support and co-organise events, including logistics, stakeholder liaison, and promotional activities would be desirable • Familiarity with EU business support environments and the Irish innovation ecosystem Additional Key Requirement Willingness and flexibility to engage with key stakeholders and networks and attend relevant events requiring engagement outside of Enterprise Ireland’s business hours. Craftworker - Carpenter
The Role Mayo County Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Craftworker Carpenter. The Carpenter will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Housing Stock owned by Mayo County Council. He / she will be responsible for carrying out tasks assigned appropriate to his / her trade, and other types of minor repairs and inspections, to a high standard and on time. Each Candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms: a) Have a good standard of general education. b) Hold a National Craft Certificate in carpentry or equivalent and have extensive experience in carpentry. c) Possess good organisational skills. d) A minimum of 1 year experience in carpentry and joinery works following successful completion of apprenticeship. e) Hold a current unendorsed Class B Driving Licence It is desirable that the successful candidate demonstrates the following through the completion of their application form and at interview, a) have had a public facing role in the past b) Have a good working knowledge of the relevant parts of the Building Regulations. Candidates must, by the date of any job offer, be: a) A citizen of the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA consists of the Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway; or A panel will be formed from qualified candidates from which permanent and temporary appointments may be made. This is a pensionable whole-time position on the basis of a 39-hour 5-day week. The role may include occasional evening and weekend work. 2. Catchment Conservation Officer
Salary: Scale PO1 SCP 28–31 £39,152 – £41,771 Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm. A flexible working hours scheme in operation. The postholder may be required to work additional hours and outside normal working hours to meet the needs of the post. JOB PURPOSE: The postholder will oversee delivery of the CALM PEACE+ programme, including development, management and delivery of riparian river restoration projects. Contribute to the achievement of biodiversity and water quality improvement objectives. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Undertake scoping, preliminary ecological surveys, ecological surveys, mapping, monitoring of sites. Assess and scope sites which may be suitable for restoration. Manage, record, collate and analyse the data for sites during and after the completion of restorative works. Undertake water sampling, testing and analysis. Develop effective working relationships with farmers, landowners, schools, community groups and angling clubs along the selected river tributaries, provide advice and information to help them improve and maintain their water quality. Develop a water quality improvement plan for the sites with involvement and support of all stakeholders for implementation of works. Secure access agreements from all landowners for contract works. Undertake stream improvement works involving volunteers where possible. Manage the project volunteers for which they are responsible, including the planning and preparation of team and individual tasks. Assist with procurement exercises associated with the CALM project. Prepare tender specifications for contract works required as part of the approved water quality improvement plan. Undertake procurement for contract works for drain blocking, fencing, scrub removal and necessary restoration works. Manage contractors engaged to deliver the project and review works to ensure all works are carried out to the required standard for the areas they are responsible for. Deliver events and programmes to inform, advise and educate local communities and engage community and stakeholders to maximise the long-term benefits of water quality measures. Prepare reports and presentations for management and other groups. Manage the allocated CALM project budget. Prepare risk assessments, SSOW and accident investigation and review as required. Prepare and provide reports for management, funders and any other corporate requests as and when required. Deputise for the Programme Manager as and when required. Undertake any other relevant duties that may be required and are commensurate with the nature and grade of the post. Qualifications and training • 3rd level qualification (i.e. HNC/HND, Level 4, Degree) in line with the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) in a relevant discipline/subject such as Biology, Ecology or Environmental Health (please note relevancy should be clearly demonstrated). Experience • 2 years’ experience of ecological surveying, monitoring or assessment. Applicants who do not possess a relevant third level qualification must demonstrate 5 years relevant experience as above. • 1 years’ experience of all of the following: – Project management. – Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders. – Managing budgets. – Data collection and analysis. Catchment Project Officer
