MTS is looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking person to join the business. This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who wants to learn a specialised industry, take on responsibility and build a long-term career. You’ll be working directly with me and learning everything from: * Vehicle technology installations * GPS tracking systems * Remote tachograph systems * Customer support * Organising jobs and day-to-day operations * Problem-solving and fault finding * Learning how the business operates both in the office and out on the road The role is a genuine mix of office work and being out on the road. We look after customers throughout Ireland, so there is plenty of driving involved. You’ll spend time learning our systems, dealing with customers, travelling to customer sites, fitting equipment, setting systems up and helping customers get up and running. Requirements: * Full, clean Irish driving licence held for at least 2-3 years (essential) * Fluent English (essential) * Good attitude and willingness to learn * Reliable, punctual and hardworking * Comfortable dealing with customers * Comfortable using computers and technology * Practical and good with your hands * Able to work on your own initiative * Enjoys driving, variety and problem-solving * Willing to get stuck in and take on responsibility An interest in trucks, transport and the haulage industry would be a definite advantage, but direct experience isn’t essential. Full training will be provided. following successful completion of training and a qualifying period of employment, your hourly rate will increase There will occasionally be late evenings, overnight stays and the odd weekend when the job requires it, but the flexibility works both ways. The role will initially start with a training and trial period to make sure it’s the right fit for both sides. Maintenance Technician Job Overview Norbrook Laboratories Ltd is seeking to recruit a multi-skilled Shift Maintenance Technician based within our Maintenance Department the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day to day electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility comprising of both preventive and reactive duties. The candidate is a critical member of Central Services Maintenance team and will take the lead role in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing machinery forming part of our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. The individual must also be willing to perform maintenance tasks for production output support as part of a team. Main Activities/Tasks • Rectify and support electrical and mechanical breakdowns efficiently and effectively • Communicate, record any changes, relevant information fully to other personnel and complete maintenance documentation. • Work as an integral part of an engineering team. • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. • To carry out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical components of the plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. • Ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard as expected on a pharmaceutical plant. • Ensure all H&S (Health and Safety) procedures are adhered to including Permit to Work, always Comply with Norbrook’s LOTO system. • Comply with Health & Safety requirements: as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc. • Report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to your line manager immediately. • Attend training as required to maintain personal qualification/competence. • Comply with the Company Equal Opportunities Policy and promote equality. • Any other duties as required by line management, commensurate with the post holder’s level of training and competence. • Create maintain & enhance effective working relationships with key stakeholders. • Any other duties as deemed necessary Essential Criteria: • Completed apprenticeship in Electrical or mechanical discipline within a manufacturing industry; • BTEC ONC qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline; • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment; • Experience in carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding and planned maintenance; • Logical and well organised approach to problem solving; • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment, to operate under time pressure; • Ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised; Desirable Criteria: • BTEC HNC/HND qualification in an engineering discipline; • Previous Pharmaceutical Experience or working within regulate environments • Knowledge of control systems within automated equipment; Duration: Full Time, Permanent Location: Monaghan Additional Information: • Applicants should be able to provide proof that they have a right to work in Ireland at the time of their application. Staff Nurse Cardio-vascular Laboratory
Job Purpose: The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled nursing team who deliver the highest standard of nursing care to those attending the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. The staff nurse will play an integral role in the assessment and delivery of care with patients requiring cardiology investigations in the Cardio-vascular laboratory (CV Lab). CV Lab is an exciting environment to develop clinical nursing skills in caring for patient’s pre/post procedure, with such cases as Percutaneous Coronary intervention (PCI), Angiograms, Trans-Catheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), Heart Ablations, Pace maker/ internal cardiac defibrillator insertion, as examples. Also, nursing in a multi-disciplinary setting and having a staff development facilitator to promote educational development for staff and best outcomes for patients. This is an exciting time to join the CV lab team as we expand our services with a new Cath Lab recovery area and CCU in development.
