Role Description: The successful candidates will work as part of the factory processing team producing meat to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis. This role is essential to maintaining the maximum required line-speed and breaking the carcass into suitable portions for follow-on trimmers / operatives down the line. Successful candidates will be required to: Work on own initiative and as part of a team. Have excellent knife skills and in-depth knowledge of the butchery trade. Must have the ability to fully debone an entire carcass (both hind quarter and fore quarter) and separate all cuts at maximum line-speed. Moving the carcasses around the meat areas, without damaging the meat, and putting them on a production line. Using tools such as knives and saws to break up, split and de-bone carcasses. Cut, trim and prepare meat cuts to specific meat and industry specification. Have an understanding of product/customer specification and possess the ability to meet these specifications while managing high volumes and challenging production targets. Physical role including lifting and standing. In addition to skilled knife use, knifemen must be able to operate cleavers, meat saws, band saws and other equipment to perform meat cutting. Payroll Admin
The Role •Reporting to the HR Manager and alongside the Finance Controller, we are currently looking for someone to come and join our Newry site as a Payroll Administrator. Key Purpose of the Post The postholder will contribute to and undertake a wide range of duties for Council events and programme delivery operations across the district.
