We are seeking to recruit a full-time Library Assistant on a specified purpose contract basis. This post is based in the General Collections & Finance (GC&F) section. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of duties in support of the section, including managing book and journal acquisitions, and will assist in the day-to-day services of the section and a variety of projects in the Library. Principal Duties Administrative and other duties: This will include: Terms and Conditions Tenure This is a full-time, temporary post for a specified purpose , anticipated to be 13 months duration . Salary Library Assistant (2025): €30,263 – €49,035 p.a. (16 points) Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions. Hours of Work A 35-hour working week is in operation in respect of full-time positions (pro-rated for part-time positions). We are now hiring for a part time Maintenance Operative to provide Maintenance and General Operative support to our nursing home Beech Park Nursing Home, Dunmurry East, Kildare R51 PC58 The Maintenance / General Operative will support in all aspects of facilities management within the home. They will also have responsibility for ensuring that the upkeep of all areas of the home and grounds are maintained to a very high standard. This is a part time role, up to 24 hours weekly with working days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8hrs daily , however the candidate needs to be flexible to attend on call and emergency matters also. The Maintenance / General Operative will have relevant experience working “hands on” within the facilities sector.
