Dental Nurse
We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team in Whitehead on a full-time basis.The successful applicant will work 37.75 hours per week from 8:45am-5:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-4:30pm on Friday. Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital. Learning Support Officer
Permanent, Full-time (36 hours per week) The post-holder will be required to work in any of the College’s buildings as necessary. Job Purpose: To contribute to the development, maintenance and co-ordination of a range of support services for students with disabilities, learning difficulties or long-term medical conditions in order to ensure that students are able to participate fully in their chosen course of study. To assess, monitor and review the additional support needs of students with disabilities, learning difficulties or long-term medical conditions and implement support strategies in line with the requirements of the student pathway in a busy environment.

Timetabling and Data Administrator
SALARY/GRADE: Band 4 (£25,992 - £30,559) MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Process and Performance Management To establish and maintain an effective centralised computerised timetabling system for the College. To carry out space-related data entry work, staff utilization work and maintain the necessary efficient office systems. To be the first point of contact for all ad hoc teaching room requests To remain up to date with the technical requirements of timetabling and register computerised systems within the College. To report and inform management decisions so as to achieve the most effective use of accommodation for curriculum delivery. To highlight at the earliest point competing claims for accommodation. To produce regular reports on o Room utilisation o Timetable efficiency and staff utilisation o Accuracy of Timetabled Activity to Planned Activity To monitor the use of the accommodation for the curriculum and provide appropriate feedback to the Timetabling Lead as requested. To provide the Timetabling Lead with all information pertinent to the effective operation of a curriculum timetable. To liaise with the Timetabling Lead on a regular basis. To liaise with curriculum staff through telephone and email correspondence on timetabling issues. To ensure that changes to the timetabling guidelines are communicated to curriculum staff and appropriate adjustments are made in an efficient and effective manner when required. To devise and manage appropriate structures for advice, training and support for the promotion of the timetabling system and relevant documents. To liaise with the academic school administrators to ensure that information is provided on timetabling activities. To carry out an audit of room use against timetables when required. To check room designation periodically or when required. To ensure that information entered into the College’s MIS or timetabling system is of the highest quality and accuracy. To carry out research as required by the Head of Department or Curriculum Area Managers. General To contribute to the achievement of the College’s mission, values and strategic directions. AND English GCSE at Grade C or above, OR Essential Skills level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or equivalent.
