This is a vital, hands‑on role focused on supporting adults with disabilities to progress into employment, further education, and training, enabling them to be valued and active members of their communities. Aligned with the WorkAbility: Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme and underpinned by a Human Rights‑Based Approach, the role’s primary purpose is to support people with disabilities to gain and sustain employment or to access education and training that improves their employment prospects. The postholder will work collaboratively with adults, their circles of support, and multidisciplinary teams to co‑design personalised pathways to education, employment, social participation, and independent living. The EmpowerAbility Coordinator will be based within Adult Day Services at the Civic Centre, Ballymun, and across other CRC locations as required. The role involves recruiting and supporting programme participants to integrate fully and meaningfully into their communities through the development of socially valued roles.
