Temporary Clerical Officer
The following reflects the typical duties you may be required to undertake, if appointed as a Temporary Clerical Officer in the RSA: Once you reach the maximum point of the scale, you must complete a further 3 years of satisfactory service to qualify for LS1 (Long Service Increment 1). After another 3 years at LS1, you will progress to LS2 (Long Service Increment 2). Salary is paid weekly. The Authority operates a contributory pension scheme. PPC (Personal Pension Contribution) Scale applies for officers who are existing civil or public servants appointed on or after 6 April 1995 or who are new entrants to the civil or public service and who are making a compulsory personal pension contribution. A different rate will apply where the appointee is not required to make a Personal Pension Contribution. Candidates should note that entry will be at Point 1 of the above scale and will not be subject to negotiation. The rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. Candidates should note that different pay and conditions may apply if, immediately prior to appointment, the appointee is a serving civil or public servant. Probation Candidates must satisfactorily complete a pro-rata probationary period as part of the temporary appointment. The length of this probation will be dependent on the length of the temporary contract. Annual Leave The annual leave allowance will be 22 working days a year. This will be calculated pro rata for contracts under 12 months. This leave is on the basis of a five-day week and is exclusive of the usual public holidays.

Community Warden
The Role: Community Wardens are frontline service employees who are involved in the delivery of a wide range of key local authority services in the heart of communities. The Community Warden service has a Countywide remit which may involve the distribution of duties on a functional, electoral or geographic area basis. The distribution of duties in this way may be adjusted from time to time in the interests of flexibility and organisational efficiency. For the most part Community Wardens will be required to carry out duties as outlined below throughout the County, to include rotation between areas as required, with flexibility to move geographically across the County in response to requirements. The successful candidate will be required to work under the direction and supervision of the appropriate line manager and carry out duties as may from time to time be assigned to him/her in relation to his/her employment and as may be appropriate. The Qualifications: Character Each candidate shall be of good character. Health Each candidate shall be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Limerick Offices for an Employee Services & Payroll Project specialist. The successful candidate will work actively on one or more phases of all identified payroll impacting projects to ensure delivery of Project charter and goals. Flexibility to support day to day payroll and HR operations to drive deeper process understanding, and support process resilience and cross training.
