Purpose of Position: As part of the larger Student Services Team, the Examinations and Assessment Office plays a key role in supporting the administration of examination logistics, grade processing, academic history record management, and awards at NCI. The office also provides essential assessment-related support and guidance to staff and students. The objective of this role is to support the Head of Assessment and Examinations by supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Examinations Office. This includes responsibilities such as exam timetable coordination, external examiner liaison, broadsheet preparation, and the administration of grade records and awards. Reporting to: Head of Examinations and Assessment Key Relationships: Candidates should note that they may be required to submit documentary evidence in support of any particulars given by them in their application for the post. Quality & Risk Manager Job Specification The Quality and Risk Manager is a key member of the Quality Safety and Risk (QSR) Team in St. Michael's House. The Quality and Risk Manager will work closely with service managers, Persons in Charge, Heads of Departments, and frontline services to promote and assure quality improvement and safety development. The Quality and Risk Manager will form key working relationships with stakeholders in the HSE, HIQA and agencies providing similar services. The overall purpose of the role is to promote and build a continuous quality improvement culture in the organisation, under the leadership of the Director of Quality Safety & Risk and in collaboration with the QSR team and key internal and external stakeholders. The Speech and Language Therapist is a valuable member of the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) who will provide a quality evidence-based service in line with family centred practice and Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles. Working within a large supportive inter-disciplinary team across a variety of clinical settings the SLT will provide a combination of direct and targeted supports to children and their families. The SLT will be part of a large, vibrant, SLT Department across St. Michael’s House who are committed to delivering an evidence-based communication and FEDS service to maximise the quality of life of the children and families they work with.
