Its key functions are: • Arranging for the provision of hospital treatment to classes of persons determined by the Minister. • Collecting, collating and validating information on persons waiting for public hospital treatment. • Agreeing pricing arrangements with private & voluntary nursing homes under the Nursing Homes Support Scheme. • Furnishing advice to the Minister for Health on related issues. • Performing any other function assigned by the Minister for Health, since July 2012 this includes responsibility for the publication of outpatient waiting lists. In carrying out its functions, the NTPF works closely with the Department of Health, the HSE, acute public hospitals and private nursing homes across the health system. The Department The finance department is responsible for accounts payable, payroll, decision support to the organisation and production of financial reporting i.e. revenue returns, etc. The Role The Clerical Officer, Finance will assist with providing administrative support for the Finance Team within the National Treatment Purchase Fund. The Finance Team is responsible for the following functions; Accounts Preparation (monthly and annual), Accounts Payable (AP), External and Internal Audits, Bank Reconciliations, Nursing Homes Support Scheme (Fair Deal), Payroll, Budgeting and supporting other sections and departments as required. From time to time, it may be necessary to move from one section to another as the needs of the Finance department dictate.This is a highly administrative role, processing a high volume of invoices which requires significant attention to detail. The key responsibilities of the Clerical Officer, Finance will include the following: • Process high volumes of supplier invoices for payment. • Carrying out numerous checks on invoices before processing, including cost verification and correct approvals. • Dealing with any Price Variances between Purchase Orders and Supplier Invoices • To perform creditor statement reconciliations. • Follow up with supplier on any invoice or statement queries. • To perform checks on supplier’s tax clearance status. • Compliance with operational policies and procedures. • To maintain confidentiality in relation to patient data. • Assist with different ad-hoc projects within the team and department. • Other duties that may arise appropriate to the role of Clerical Officer. The  Technical Solution Sales Specialist will be the primary point of contact to bring the best of all we have at eir  evo to a specific set of new customer relationships and opportunities • Responsible for supporting Account Directors and customer relationships in order to identify opportunities,  develop your pipeline and successfully achieve eir evo sales targets • Maintain a deep multi-disciplinary architectural and sales knowledge across the Infrastructure, ICT & Network propositions and relevant Network Security solutions • Maintain a broad architectural and sales knowledge – your accountabilities • As an enthusiastic and dynamic Technical Solution Sales  Specialist, you will be developing winning conversations with  potential major customers, who you will identify and close in a  consultative manner in order to start them on their journey  with us to Digital Transformation.  • Creating a dynamic network future for your customers  business with our Network, Cloud Infrastructure, ICT and  intelligent monitoring & managed service solutions • Helping your customers build an agile and effective digital  workforce with our collaboration solutions • Balancing the risk and reward for your customers with tailored  private and public cloud offers • Accountable for delivering and exceeding Sales Targets, based  on Revenue & Gross Margin for a defined portfolio of products  & services to our agreed target customer base in Ireland  • Accountable for building complex network solutions that meet  and exceed customers’ business needs, delivering business  outcomes, to maximum profitability achievable for eir evo • Accountable for maintaining a broad architectural knowledge  and have opinions on leading & emerging Infrastructure, ICT,  Network & Network Security at C Level in both Government & Enterprise accounts • Regular participation at both external & internal events to  promote our product & service offerings to clients Requirements For A Successful Application: Skills required for the job Strong analytical skills, to include  forecasting, pipeline achievement, P&L  details, detailed understanding of  customer trading & buying  process/cycles and the ability to analyse  competitor proposals as required • Good knowledge and understanding of  eir evo propositions, and the business  outcomes they deliver to customers e.g.  Data Comms, Managed Infrastructure,  Hosting/Cloud, Customer Contact, Voice  & UC, Security & Managed Services • Proven track record of delivering against  targets within a technical solution sales specialist role • Managing change, aligning and  prioritising multiple demands • Excellent communication, presentation  and interpersonal skills with strong  influencing and negotiation skills • Ability to engage at board level with  customers to strategically position eir  evo, our offerings & our competitive  advantages • Excellent financial & commercial acumen • Be resilient and able to achieve  consistently experience of delivering financial targets • Strong experience in Enterprise Sales,  characterised by consultative selling to  senior-level management that resulted  in complex technical project
