Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Rotational Permanent/Temporary/Panel We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Occupational Therapists with an interest in rehabilitation to work with our team at the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH). At the NRH we are committed to interdisciplinary working, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with other professional colleagues providing a full range of rehabilitation services to patients. There is also an active staff education programme and supervision structure within the department, designed to support staff development. The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess: a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy. If this qualification was gained outside the Republic of Ireland, it must have been validated by the Department of Health. She/he must be eligible for membership of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland. POSITION SUMMARY: The role of Clinical Manager is suited to experienced clinical/counselling/educational psychologists, social workers, mental health nurses and occupational therapists. The Clinical Manager is the mental health lead for the Jigsaw service, providing clinical leadership across the therapeutic support service and indirect activities such as capacity building and community awareness. The Clinical Manager is responsible for clinical governance and acts as the clinical lead for the transdisciplinary Jigsaw team which works with young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The Clinical Manager and Service Manager work closely together to ensure the safe and effective delivery of the Jigsaw service. The social worker will work as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team within one or more of the hospital’s programmes. He/she be responsible for providing a quality social work service to in-patients and/or out-patients of the National Rehabilitation Hospital, their families, and carers.
