About This Role Role Purpose The Investigations Manager will manage people and projects internally, andcoordinate with external stakeholders nationally and across the EuropeanUnion. About the Team/Division The Investigations team sits within the Platform Supervision and InvestigationsDivision and is responsible for investigating alleged breaches of regulations,including the DSA, Terrorist Content Online Regulation and the Online SafetyCode. The team must investigate alleged breaches in accordance with relevantlegislation and adhere to fair procedures. The team is also responsible forsupporting the European Commission with certain aspects of its investigationsand if a request has been made under Article 66 of the DSA. We are currently seeking applications from Occupational Therapists interested in joining the established Adult Services Occupational Therapy team. This recruitment process is carried out to fill a full-time permanent Basic Grade Occupational Therapist post in St. Michael’s House Adult Services . The position will be working with adults with an intellectual disability and complex needs. The post will be based in St. Michael’s House Ballymun Clinic (Glasnevin) but may involve service provision across Adult Services in St. Michael’s House. Supervision will be available from an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist on the team and Line Management will be under the Occupational Therapy Manager. Working in our department will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their Physiotherapy clinical skills across a broad range of areas including Physical Disability, Frailty, Dementia and Autism. Overall Purpose of the Post: To work closely within a small team and the Warehouse Supervisor to achieve and maintain a high level of service. Emphasis should be placed on maximising opportunities to increase the company’s profitability by adherence to all company policies and processes, i.e. Health & Safety, Manual Handling, House Keeping and Performance. Duties: • Load up the conveyor belt with donated clothes and textiles • Identify (Ladies fashion wear, shoes, handbags, Menswear, childrenswear etc.) and sort donated clothes for re-sale in our shops • Be able to work within a small team of women and men • Comply with directions and instruction from Warehouse Manager • Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting (up to 8-10kg approx). • Alternate from base to top of conveyor to sort as per roster • Separate textiles from shoes, handbags, toys, waste and paper • Separate good textiles into Ladies dresses, Ladies tops, Ladies skirts and trousers and other garments for sale in our shops. • Record yield from sorted textiles, rag textiles and waste • Alternate from rag to sort floor as per roster. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by good housekeeping and follow ‘Clean as You Go’ Policy • Carry out other general warehouse duties applicable to a warehouse operation • Carry out duties in line with Health & Safety and Manual Handling requirements. • To maintain a positive attitude, co-operation and respect for all colleagues To minimise exposure to breaches of GDPR, strict compliance is required in the course of carrying out the duties of this job and working with others.
