City of Dublin ETB has 3,000 employees and an annual budget of €580m. It is the state education and training authority for Dublin city and serves the area covered by Dublin City Council. This provision is delivered to over 48,000 learners (20,000 full-time and 28,000 part-time) and is supported by a range of services including a psychological service, a curriculum development unit, a buildings maintenance unit and Head Office staff in Ballsbridge. It also has statutory responsibility for supporting the provision, coordination, administration and assessment of youth work services in Dublin city and is the lead partner for Music Generation Dublin City. City of Dublin ETB is also responsible for the national awarding authority for student grants in Ireland, Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI). Since its establishment 1983 Finglas Training Centre is embedded as the provider of several Phase 2 craft Apprenticeships trades in the area of Electrical, Motor Mechanics, Plumbing, Carpentry & Joinery and Sheetmetal, and a number of other FET Courses. Since then, thousands of Apprentices attending our courses have expanded their skills and knowledge in their chosen field of learning. Salary: For persons entering public service for the first time, starting pay will be at the minimum point of the APO salary scale, €80,274. This is not negotiable. An incremental salary scale applies thereafter. Previous public sector experience may be eligible for incremental credit, to be determined upon appointment. Annual Leave: 30 working days per annum (pro rata) Summary of Position: The Manager of Finglas Training Centre is a senior manager and leader of City of Dublin ETB’s Further Education and Training provision. The manager will oversee the day-today operations of training services with responsibility for a significant budget and large number of learners. They will also be key in leading on the City of Dublin ETB vision for FET across the city which is to develop one integrated inclusive service with the learner journey at the centre. Desirable Requirements: • Have a minimum of three years recent experience, preferably at a senior position in an organisation, which in the opinion of City of Dublin ETB is relevant to the post. • Knowledge of the broad Further Education and Training Sector. • Have significant experience in people management including but not limited to general staff supervision, teamwork, scheduling, staff development and training. • Have excellent administrative and IT skills. • Ability to prioritise and manage work in a dynamic and pressurised environment. • Goal oriented in a manner that ensures that work is comprehensively completed. • Proven record as a team-player with a flexible approach. • Demonstrated experience of building and maintaining relationships. • Effective verbal and written communications, including negotiation, project management, report writing and presentation skills. • Excellent judgement, problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills. • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills. • Excellent work planning and organisation skills. • Self-motivating, flexible and results focused. • Experience of developing procedures and implementation and monitoring of same. Accounts Receivable Administrator
ROLE PURPOSE This role will be responsible for maintaining the unsubmitted ledger for both current and aged claims thus helping to reduce debt by maximising claims submissions and cash collection Their purpose will be to · Deliver timely task achievement · Ensure all claims are collated correctly, efficiently and submitted in a timely manner, in accordance with the relevant contract or commercial agreement · Maintain a high standard of quality checking to minimise the occurrence of pended, returned, rejected or part paid claims · Maintain a minimum level of queried claims on their desks · Ensure that all patients/staff and any other individuals contacting and attending the Blackrock Clinic are dealt with in an efficient, effective and timely manner at all times and be responsible for their own actions. 1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Review Patient claim packs for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information required in order to submit the claim for assessment to the relevant Insurer · Identification of claims with errors that cannot be submitted to the Insurers and being pro-active in trying to resolve them in a timely manner · Daily scanning and submissions of claims to relevant third party in accordance with their relevant cut-off dates whilst ensuring swift turnarounds along with a high standard of quality · Assisting in the management of Consultant files ensuring paperwork is chased and received in a timely manner, requesting and copying charts where necessary · Resolution and resubmission of any VHI returns that come back as quality errors · Acquire a full understand of the Insurer contracts and the rules of billing and submissions · Weekly reconciliation of claims submitted to each Insurer between diary entry, OA and the claims summary sheet · Assisting with filing, cash collection and other ad-hoc duties required · Deal with routine calls from patients, consultants and staff, resolving daily or escalating to your Team Lead if further action is required but taking responsibility for ensuring the notes in OA are kept up to date and assisting where possible to close out the query.
