The Role: This is an exciting time to join Ziff Davis. We are looking for a Europe Finance Manager to join our accounting team on a FTC (maternity cover for 1 year), normally based in Dublin, working remotely at present. This role's main focus is to lead and motivate the GL team during the month end and ensure that all the scheduled activities are completed on time and accurately. The successful candidate will work closely with the International Shared Services Director, based in Ireland and the Global Controller, based in the US. The team is responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts, which includes the reconciliation of balance sheet and sub-ledger accounts (e.g. AP, AR , Fixed Assets and Cash Management) and supporting the year-end audit to a very high standard. In addition to the management of the month end process it is expected that the successful candidate would take on various projects for process improvement and automation as part of their role. This role will expose the candidate to both US and local GAAP of various countries, both by managing the team and also with the entities assigned to the candidate. This position will require the candidate to work and communicate with colleagues in various other countries. This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous phlebotomy experience • Phlebotomy certificate of competence • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Exemplary customer service skills and experience. • Ability to manage existing clientele and generate new clientele at the same time. • High level of IT literacy. Desirable: • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages. • Confidence and experience working internal / external events. • Sales / Retail experience. • Valid UK driving license
