The appointee will be involved in the developing, testing, and delivery of bespoke NPWS farm plans; advising on strategies to address biodiversity loss in agricultural systems including input into both EU and nationally funded programmes; inputting on NPWS contributions to the Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan; working with regional NPWS staff to advise on agricultural issues; providing technical assistance to line management; facilitating projects and research and partnerships within the auspices of the Agri-Ecology Unit.
