General Manager For Social Inclusion Services Incorporating The National Drug Treatment Centre And Addiction Services - NDT
The Role The General Manager will be a senior leader within the Integrated Health Area (IHA) structure, responsible for enabling integrated care, driving service improvement, and overseeing strategic and operational programmes across the IHA. This post carries specific executive operational responsibility for Social Inclusion Services, the National Drug Treatment Centre (NDTC) and Addiction Services across Dublin South and Wicklow, ensuring high quality, safe, accredited and efficient operations aligned with the Draft National Drugs Strategy 2026-2029. The General Manager will also hold responsibility for NDTC laboratory governance, accreditation, quality assurance, and workforce planning for toxicology and pathology related services, in accordance with recognised laboratory management standards. The Person 1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. (a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: I. Significant senior management experience within health, social care, or social inclusion services. And II. Demonstrated experience delivering complex service change and improvement programmes in a healthcare environment. And III. Extensive experience with performance management, service planning and cross functional collaboration. And IV. The requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. 2.
