Main Duties and Responsibilities • To co-operate with the Pharmacist/Store Manager responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the pharmacy • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service at all times adhering to MediCare standards of service delivery. • Receive deliveries and restock dispensary/shop front • Review & transmit orders to Warehouse • Deal with telephone queries (medical advice must only be provided by the Pharmacist) • Cleaning all area of the shop including floors, shelves, toilets etc. • Key holder (if required) – open / close shop when required. • Assist in organising monies for bank lodgements and till floats. • To undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Store/Pharmacy Manager as and when required. The role of senior social worker in Adult Services is to support persons supported to have opportunities for self-expression and their needs met in all aspects of their lives. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will work in line with the team’s service plans and objectives, while adhering to established professional standards, guidelines, and policies. In this role, you will provide assessment and intervention within the framework of the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT), delivering therapeutic services to children and young people (0–18 years) with a range of complex needs arising from disability. Services are provided to families living in Crumlin, Drimnagh, Parnell Road, and parts of Kimmage, Harold’s Cross, and Walkinstown. Our approach is rooted in child- and family-centred practice, with support delivered across clinic, school, home, and community settings. Interventions may be universal, targeted, or individualised, with a strong emphasis on evidence-informed practice and the implementation of national and professional CDNT guidelines. The team covers a small geographical area, many families are within walking distance, allowing for close community connections and accessible service delivery. We work in a spacious building with ample parking for those who drive. The interdisciplinary team includes Physiotherapy, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Social Work, and Therapy Assistants.

BROTHERS OF CHARITY SERVICES –WEST REGION POST: LOCUM RELIEF SUPPORT WORKER GALWAY CITY AND COUNTY JOB REF: 89340 Location: Staff allocation could be either within Centre based residential/day centres, or in the Community as Service needs require. The Role: Support Workers provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. This role comprises two main elements. Firstly, the Support Worker is responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with development on Individual Plan’s and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration. Reporting/Responsible To: Staff Nurse in charge/Team Leader/Team Manager/Service Coordinator. Qualifications: Candidates must have a good general education. A recognised qualification in the field of intellectual disability or a FETAC level 5 course is an advantage. A full, clean, manual Irish Driving Licence is desirable. A commitment to obtaining a full licence within nine months of commencement is required as it is essential that the appointee can drive the transport that is assigned to the Service. Due to the nature and location of services, many service areas require applicants to hold a full, clean, manual Irish Driving Licence. Applicants who do not hold a full, clean, manual Irish Driving Licence may not be eligible for work in certain service areas. It may also be necessary for the appointee to obtain a Class D1 Driving Licence (if not already in possession of one). Assistance will be given towards this purpose of obtaining a class D1 licence.
