The Role: The Infrastructure Delivery Directorate (IDD) Portfolio Office function supports the effective management of the delivery of the IDD investment programme by ensuring governance and control through data management and systems, processes and performance reporting and analysis including the management of planning, land, wayleave, utility and statutory consents. This enables efficient delivery of the investment programme by providing programme visibility, informed risk management, analysis, challenge, and decision making. The function also provides expert support in key areas that enable the effective, efficient, and sustainable delivery of the IDD investment portfolio. The Project Controls Team sit within the IDD Portfolio Office. The purpose of the Project Controls Team is to monitor, analyse, and manage various aspects of Uisce Éireann portfolios to ensure they stay on track with their objectives, schedule, and budget in line with the Invest to Outcome (I2O) Governance Framework. The team oversees cost management, schedule management and performance monitoring activities. The goal is to provide accurate information and insights to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and proactive adjustments to keep projects, and the wider portfolio, on course. Telemetry Maintenance Technician
Grade and Salary E: €49,252 - €73,877 per year The Role: The Asset Operations functions form the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operational Control Function has responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing the activities of key technical teams and infrastructure, which provide expertise and excellence on a national basis in collaboration with, and complementary to, the Regional and Local delivery of routine front-line water and wastewater services. The Integrated Operations team monitor the performance of the operating environment, ensuring risks to service continuity are identified and managed and that the Customer first approach is at the forefront of Asset Operations activities. This will include the performance of the asset base, optimising production and managing network integrity during interventions. The Telemetry Maintenance Technician will report to the Telemetry Maintenance Lead. The Telemetry Maintenance Technician has a national remit and is responsible for supporting the delivery of a customer focused service providing day to day developmental, technical and operational support to the National Operations Management Centre team and the users of the Uisce Éireann Telemetry system. This involves the review of site signal listings, configuration, monitoring end to end testing and resolving problems (nuisance alarming, incorrect configuration etc.), the raising of work orders and stakeholder management where appropriate. This role will involve supporting an initial project phase of setting up processes, procedures and ways of working. There will be a requirement to travel. The role will cover mechanical and electrical building services, building fabric, sub-contractor management, and Facilities helpdesk Day to Day of the Role: Plan and schedule for BFM team works. Manage and respond to Helpdesk issues. Management of and liaison with sub-contractors when on site. Interaction with building personnel to ensure all relevant requests are responded to and resolved. Carry out work as per site policies, schedules and procedures. Complete site documentation before and after work tasks, as required. Participate in the appropriate training. Filing of Risk Assessment of Task performed and ensure these are always kept valid. Be familiar with all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) rules and regulations where appropriate Be familiar with Statutory requirements Be responsible for filing of training curriculum and ensure missing requirements are completed Ensure all tools and equipment lists are kept in good condition.
