Accountant
The Clear Group requires an Accountant to join our team working on a full-time permanent basis from 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday based in our Support Office, Belfast. Reporting to the Financial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Group financial management and monitoring of the internal control environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities Preparation of accounts Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for the operational management. Responsibility for all journals and final GL balances including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Group’s accounting records and financial systems. Production of statutory accounts for the various companies in Pharmacy Division as and when required in accordance with the relevant accounting principles and the legislation of the countries in which they operate. Budgets and forecasts Preparation of budgets and forecasts and continued monitoring and review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances. Financial management and controls Effectively manage the working capital components of the Group with specific attention to stock and cash balances. Active management of overheads whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies and savings. Assist in the production of a Control and Procedures manual and to ensure it is being adhered to. Play an active role in assisting management in the risk assessment process and embedding a risk management culture throughout the organisation. Taxation Ensure returns for VAT are submitted, payments made on time and all relevant regulations are complied with. Staff Effectively manage, motivate and develop the Finance department team. AONB And Geopark Marine Project Officer
** Please read the Candidate Recruitment Pack before completing your application form ** Main Purpose of Post / Role: The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering the Council's contribution to the Coastal Monitoring and Adaption Planning (CMAP) project, leading the design and implementation of a targeted programme to transition traditional mooring systems in Strangford Lough to advanced mooring systems (AMS). The postholder will work at the interface of marine conservation, climate adaption and community engagement, collaborating with mooring owners, stakeholders and project partners to support sustainable coastal management. This role will involce project planning and delivery, stakeholder engagement, procurement and funding coordination, and the promotion of nature-based solutions that enhance biodiversity, protect seabed habitats and build resilience to climate change within the Marine Protected Area, AONB and Geopark. This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by teh Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Duration of Appointment: This is a temporary funded post until 31 March 2029, which may be extended or curtailed subject to funding. Salary: Scale SO1, spinal point 25-27, £36,363 - £38,220 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked). Plus 19% employer pension contribution. Pay frequency is monthly by BACS (Bank Automated Clearing System) in arrears on the third last banking day of the month. Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 36 hours per week. This post is eligible to participate in the Flexi Scheme.

Information Officer
The remit of the Carer Supports Community team is to deliver one to one support to family carers, alongside the design, development and implementation of group and community-based supports. This team will manage delivery of local and national events (COTY, National Carers Week, Respite weekends, Training & Education). The Information Officer (IO) will work with the Support Manager Kildare and West Wicklow. Their role will involve responding to queries from family carers using the Carers Star Conversation. The Information Officer will work with the Support Manager in the administration of carer supports including but not limited to scheduling of carer clinics, workshops, support groups, making internal referrals and signposting to external organisations etc. The Information Officer also provides support to their Network team as required, which will include supporting fundraising. The Information Officer will be expected to travel to local and national meetings on a regular basis. Organisational Relationships Reports to: Support Manager Kildare and West Wicklow Direct reports: N/A External liaison: Family carers, community and voluntary providers, statutory providers including the HSE, members of the public. Main Responsibilities The Information Officer will have responsibility for the following: Family Carer Supports Respond to carer queries and provide information/signposting to Family Carers Ireland (FCI) resources available for carers including but not limited to; Membership, the website, online training & education and other community-based supports and services. Work collaboratively in supporting the Support Manager in organising clinics, appointments, facilities etc. Conduct Carer Star conversations with carers in line with the carer engagement process and refer to Support Manager as appropriate. Conduct welcome calls to family carers in a timely and effective manner. Respond calmly and appropriately to carers in line with training provided. Support the development and updating of the local community-supports directory. Reporting Maintain records in accordance with GDPR of contacts with family carers, engagements with staff and other records required by the organisation as set out in organisational policies, procedures and guidelines.
