This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Programming Operations Manager to join a fast paced, dynamic and creatively driven team. Working closely with the Creative Programming Manager, this role is integral to delivering the events, programming and engagement strategy at Titanic Belfast, SS Nomadic and the historic Titanic Slipways. While this role demands strong operational and logistical expertise, it also requires a creative mindset to bring the events to life through delivering high quality visitor experiences. Working cross sectionally across the business to plan, co-ordinate and deliver an exciting programme of events, products and animation that will attract new audiences, generate revenue, drive customer engagement and create sustainable growth for the organisation. Call Handler
Job Background: The Call Handler will provide a multifunctional service to the public and members of the police service by determining the response to emergency and non-emergency telephone calls. Call Handlers will offer advice and assistance to customers and log calls in accordance with local and national quality and performance standards. The Call Handler will attempt to resolve all calls where appropriate through telephone resolution by requesting relevant information from the caller to determine the most appropriate grading or response to the call. Hours of Work: Call Handlers are required to work shifts. The shift pattern is 12-hour shifts 4 days on and 4 days off (32-day rotation) which attracts a shift disturbance allowance of approximately 20%. (Any future changes to the shift pattern will result in a corresponding reduction in the rate of shift disturbance allowance). Salary: £26,449 - £28,094 plus £1365 environmental allowance. Policy And Engagement Officer
Main purpose of job The Policy and Engagement Officer will provide support to the Director of Improvement, Engagement and Impact and Senior Policy & Engagement Officer to ensure the development and effective implementation of learning from the broad range of NIPSO investigations. This will include both maladministration investigations and local government standards investigations linked to the Code of Conduct for local Councillors. Duties will include conducting research, policy analysis and the development of outcome and impact measurements. It will also involve understanding case decisions and case thresholds and using these to improve standards across both the Councillor community and public bodies. The post holder will participate in networks established with public bodies, elected representatives, advocacy and support groups and other regulators and oversight bodies to; understand issues with the delivery of public services, ensure the dissemination of learning from NIPSO investigations both maladministration and local government ethical standards to improve public services and standards of conduct and promote a culture of learning from complaints.
